OEM, retail and volume
OEM licences are tied permanently to the device they shipped with. Retail (FPP) licences can be transferred between devices. Volume licensing (via Open Value or CSP) gives one key set, reimaging rights and centralised records — the only option that scales.
Why cheap keys are a liability
Keys sold for a few hundred taka are almost always volume, education or region-locked licences resold outside their terms. They deactivate after an update, cannot be transferred, and produce no VAT-valid invoice — so replacement cost exceeds the original saving.

Volume licensing includes downgrade and reimaging rights, which matters when standardising a fleet on one corporate image. OEM licences do not give you that.
