SolidWorks License Price in Bangladesh — Standard to Premium

SolidWorks is the mechanical design standard in Bangladeshi manufacturing, from RMG machinery to light engineering. Choosing the tier is mostly a question of whether you need simulation and routing.

Standard, Professional, Premium

Standard covers part and assembly modelling, drawings and sheet metal. Professional adds CAD library tools, design-cost estimation and ECAD collaboration. Premium adds structural and motion simulation plus routing for piping and electrical.

Term or perpetual

Term licences lower the entry cost and include support. Perpetual licences cost more upfront and require annual subscription for updates and support. Manufacturers with stable long-term use often still prefer perpetual.

Simulation without Premium

If only one engineer needs stress analysis, a single Simulation add-on on top of Standard seats is usually cheaper than upgrading the whole team to Premium.

Local supply and support

MacX supplies SolidWorks with BDT invoicing, VAT challans and renewal management, and can quote PDM for teams that need controlled revisions.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need SolidWorks PDM?
Once more than two or three engineers share files, PDM prevents the revision conflicts that cost far more than the licence.
Can a perpetual licence run without subscription?
It keeps working, but you lose updates, new versions and support — and cannot open files from newer releases.
Does MacX supply SolidWorks Simulation separately?
Yes, as an add-on to existing seats.
